About our Business...
Back in the 1970's, Jerry Hoffman began photography as a hobby. Through his hard work and over the next few years his photographic services were requested almost weekly and the hobby rapidly became a side business. Shirley (his wife) took care of the business end of things while Jerry continued covering event after event. Jeff (their son) began seriously photographing in 1981 and Lisa (their daughter) began photographing a couple of years later. From it's beginning in the early 1970's, we're proud to say that the hobby has blossomed into Hoffman Photography, Inc. The "official" business was started in 1992 and we've been going strong ever since. We were one of the first St. Louis Photographers to have a Web Site and are always expanding the site to meet the need of our clients. New products and ideas are an integral part of our business and we always strive to provide the best overall speed, quality, and service. What began as a hobby has now become an International Business. Through our hard work, our pictures and albums have reached Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Philippines, Russia, Switzerland, & a host of other locations.
Lately, one of the nicest compliments we received was from a newly married soldier and his wife. Within days of his wedding he was shipped out for a 12-24 month deployment. However, by using our website he was able to view all of their pictures in Saudi Arabia while his wife did the same here in the U.S. From their e-mails we were able to produce an album exactly to their specifications and have it ready for when he returned on leave. Most all of our appointments are done in person, but it’s nice to be able to help anyone out regardless of their location!
